Initially conceived as a redesign of Lonely Planet covers for Cuba, Morocco, and Thailand, this project evolved into handcrafted travel journals after I realized the need to capture specific trip memories. Inspired by each destination’s architecture, landscapes, and textiles, I created vibrant geometric patterns using a focused color palette and negative space. Each 6”×8.5” softcover journal was then printed, cut, sewn, and bound by hand.
